This is it folks. After a long, long wait, Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix is finally here. If you’ve been waiting for the game to finally release, chances are that you don’t really need this episode of XBLA in Brief to sway you one way or the other. Still, we’ve pledged ourselves to provide this service and, dang it, that’s what we intend to do. Check out the latest episode and ponder with us just why (oh why) Capcom decided to remove any kind of CPU controlled opponents from the trial version.

After its official announcement well over a year ago, Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix is finally landing on Xbox Live Arcade. For the always controversial price of 1200 Microsoft Points, you get a completely redrawn cast of characters and a while slew of reworked backgrounds. Let’s not forget the game comes with some revamped tunes as well. Oh, and of course there’s the (reportedly) improved netcode too, which will hopefully smooth out those online wrinkles.

Go get the trial game and tell us what you think. Was it worth the wait? For that matter, is it worth the scratch? Basically, is it the best around?

After a week with no XBLA games, we were ready to sink our teeth into something new. This week, we not only get A Kingdom for Keflings, but it also happens to be the first Xbox 360 game that lets players use their Avatar as a playable character.
